CODE SURVIVOR is a Python learning game for complete beginners, built as an action roguelite. You never start from a blank page: code arrives as fill-in-the-blank chips on level-up, in the order variables → comparisons → if → for → functions. At first you only move and dodge.

The code you write is the code that fights. A Python function, decide(snapshot), controls your ship: your ifs and fors pick the target and the weapon, and changing a line changes the fight on the spot. Survive the 10-minute run and the boss is waiting.

Who it's for: people who have never written Python, students, and anyone who tried a tutorial and stopped. Not a free-form coding sandbox — the game hands you the code one piece at a time.

• Code chips: 21 fragments of Python you earn on level-up. Learn each one in three steps: fill in the blanks → reorder the code → modify it yourself. 16 of the 21 are open as exercises from the start; the other 5 join the list once you unlock the weapons they use
• 8 base weapons and 6 evolutions: combine shoot / blast / laser … and evolve them when the conditions are met
• Enemy Codex and damage breakdown: the result screen shows which enemies dealt the most damage, how to counter the top one, and which sample build to load
• Fully offline: no network, no account, no ads, no in-app purchases. Export your progress as JSON and carry it to another device

The paid Windows build adds a complete second stage: face the line-blocking Warden, the second boss FIREWALL, two mini-bosses, four trait passives and the exclusive Lance evolution. Stage 1 (the same as the free web version) is included as well.

How much is in it: a 10-minute run you replay with a different build each time — two stages, two bosses and two mini-bosses, 8 base weapons with 6 evolutions, 21 code chips (16 of them open as practice exercises), an enemy codex and a damage breakdown. One-time purchase: no in-app purchases, no subscription, and updates stay free for everyone who has bought it.

Bringing your web progress over: the same web version is also at https://code-survivor.pages.dev/ , installable as an offline app. Use [⬇ Export] under "💾 Export / import save" on the title screen to bring your web progress (learning, unlocks, codex) into the Windows build.

Requirements: Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit). Unzip and open CODE SURVIVOR.exe (no installer).
The executable is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn on the first launch ("More info" → "Run anyway").
Progress is saved in %APPDATA%\CODE SURVIVOR.

CODE SURVIVOR は、Python 未経験者向けの学習ゲームです。見た目はアクションローグライトですが、コードはレベルアップの穴埋めから、変数 → 比較 → if → for → 関数の順に身につきます。白紙から書くことはなく、最初は移動と回避だけです。

書いたコードが、そのまま戦います。自機の動きは Python の関数 decide() が決め、if や for で「どの敵を狙うか」「どの武器を使うか」を書き換えると、その瞬間から戦闘が変わります。10 分のランを生き延びればボスが待っています。

こんな人に: Python を書いたことがない人・学生・入門書や動画で止まった人。自由にコードを書くサンドボックスではなく、ゲームがコードを 1 つずつ渡します。

• コードチップ: レベルアップで手に入る 21 種のコードの断片。穴埋め → 並べ替え → 自力で変更、の 3 段で身につく。21 種のうち練習問題は最初から 16 問、残り 5 問は使う武器を解放すると並ぶ
• 8 系統の武器と進化: shoot / blast / laser … を組み合わせ、条件を満たすと進化する
• 敵図鑑と「やられた相手」: どの敵に多く削られたか、その敵への答え、読み込むお手本ビルドがリザルトに出る
• 完全オフライン: 外部通信・アカウント・広告・課金は無い。進行は JSON で書き出して別の端末へ持ち込める

Windows 版に入っているもの: 第 1 ステージ（無料の Web 版と同じ）＋ 第 2 ステージ（線を止める護衛型、第 2 ボス FIREWALL、特性パッシブ 4 種、進化「光槍」、小ボスとチップデータ）。

どれくらい遊べるか: 10 分のランを、毎回ちがうビルドで繰り返し遊ぶ作りです。2 ステージ・ボス 2 体・小ボス 2 種・武器 8 系統と進化 6 種・コードチップ 21 種（うち練習問題 16 問）・敵図鑑・「やられた相手」の内訳。買い切りです: ゲーム内課金もサブスクもありません。更新は購入済みの方に無料で届きます。

Web 版からの引き継ぎ: 同じ Web 版は https://code-survivor.pages.dev/ にもあり、オフラインで使えるアプリとして入れられます。Web 版の進行（学習の記録・解放・図鑑）は「💾 セーブの書き出し」で Windows 版に持ち込めます。

動作環境: Windows 10 / 11（64bit）。zip を展開して CODE SURVIVOR.exe を開くだけ（インストール不要）。
コード署名をしていないため、初回に SmartScreen の警告が出ることがあります（「詳細情報」→「実行」）。
進行は %APPDATA%\CODE SURVIVOR に保存されます。

言語: 日本語と英語（タイトル画面で切り替え）。
